We are in Mellier! As we arrive and begin to unpack, some of us begin to see familiar faces: Babo, MacArthur, Claudie, Anani, Richard…while some of our team members are meeting new friends for the first time. It doesn’t take long for the children to show up and we find ourselves engaged in soccer, frisbee, and necklace and bracelets creations; beads are everywhere. It’s wonderfully chaotic and everyone is happy! Saturday comes and goes as we spend time with our friends and realize that we all share the same hopes and dreams. We worship the same God and although we speak different languages, we have much more in common than we can possibly communicate with each other through words. It’s the start of an amazing week in Mellier!
